“A FRENCH HORN STORY”

“Uma História da Trompa” (A French Horn Story) is a live media show that tells the story of the French horn, since its origin until the present day. This instrument, present with the animal horn since the beginning of humanity up to our days with the modern horn, will be played live by a hornist, interpreting extracts from musical pieces with various instruments connected to the family of the French horn.
The performance on stage will have as its backdrop a film projected on a large screen, illustrating the evolution of the horn with audiovisual multiple frames. In this film, we discover through the play and the prying eyes of two children, the transformations and variations of the instrument, the performers and composers, which together constitute the rich heritage of the instrument.
